picture compresses to about 1/3 of the screen (vertical) and appears to shift from right to left.

only does it from cold and eventually gets better. (10-15 mins)

only does it from scart source as dvd source isnt scart and works fine.

is this a costly repair? or should i put money towards hd?

tv is 5 years old and is still a good performer. allbeit non hd etc.
