Toshiba 36ZP48 - Colourful Corners

We moved house last week and upon turning on the TV we noticed the bottom left and top right corners are a lot more 'colourful' than they used to be

It's as if the TV is sitting too close to a magnetic source (which AFAIK it isn't). Is this something that will sort itself out or should I be making a call to the removals company?

Leave it switched off at the mains overnight and try it in the morning.

Report back......

Thanks for replying, I will give it a whirl and let you know the outcome (might not be until later in the week though).

Told you it would be a while before replying (been off for a week doing up the front room - it would have been easier being at work!).

Alas, leaving the set unplugged overnight has not resolved the colourful corners issue - any other suggestions...?

It's worth getting it degaussed. A local TV engineer should be able to do that pretty cheaply, it's only a few seconds with his magic wand!

If that doesn't cure it, the set's had a knock in transit.
