How to search for "LG" when it's < 3 chars?

Any tips or tricks to uncover any posts about LG widescreens when the search engine refuses point-blank to let me search for LG as it's under two characters?

TIA
Paul

You could try using wildcard characters, e.g.
*LG*

I know this is a pain in the arse but if people were searching for all posts with the word 'it' in them, the forums would grind to a halt in no time.

No problem, I can see the reasons why it's done - though I guess by that argument people can do the same for everyting with "the" in it

Got a Panasonic in the end - you can search for those

regards
Paul
