Sony KD32DX40U low sound

Hi,

Does anyone have a similar problem where you have to turn the volume up quite high to get a reasonable level of sound? Is this common with other Sony widescreens? Any repair solutions? Or is that just the way it is?

TIA

Re: Sony KD32DX40U low sound

Have you checked the settings in the sound adjust menu and its sub-menu where auto-volume can be switched on/off?...and adjust the "personal" setting to your liking...it's possible whoever was last in this menu set and stored the vol at a low level.
