Question Toshiba 32W8DB Problem

I have just recently been experiencing problems with my Toshiba 32W8DB set. Im a bit of a TV newbie so hopefully it might be a something simple, but I doubt it. My set has been fine up until lately (Ive had it about a year now) but I now seem to be seeing a "flicking in brightness" occasionally but just now it was doing it every 10 seconds or so. Its as tho the brightness gets increased twice then reverts back to the original picture. This gets very annoying as I like to watch films with no interuption but when this happens it just ruins the whole experience . I thought ii'd drop a message in here to see if someone can advise me on what to do, I've tried various obvious checks but haven't cleared it.

Thanks in advance for any info
