Question 24" Widescreens

I have a small room and a small budget, but would like a widescreen TV, so I'm after a 24" Widescreen.

I'm after a good picture, but sound is not that important to me as I'm partially deaf

I've had a look at a few in the local Comet and Currys and have my eyes on a JVC, a Philips or a Panasonic. There was a nice Sony, but it was outside my price range

Any recommendation between the above manufacturers?

Thumbs up

Don't worry, I wouldn't pay Comet/Currys prices - I only wanted to see the sets in the 'flesh'

Just bought the Philips 24PW6006 (from Empire Direct) which came out top in a recent What Hi Fi group test - I'm very pleased with it so far and would definitely recommend it.

Cheers, Peter
