SONY KV28LS35,NTSC capable,yes?

Silly question I know but was thinking about getting one and had a look on the Comet website and under the specs it had NTSC:No
Is this correct, seems bizzare to me if it is,looked on Sony website and it makes no mention of it at all for any of the widescreen tv's listed not just this one.
My old KV24 does NTSC,surely it has to be incorrect?

iv'e got the 24" version, 24ls35, which was bought for the bedroom.
although since my 44" thomson rptv was sent back, is currently residing in the living room. (big difference)
for a 50hz set i can't fault it.

it's got virtual surround, no substitute for seperates though and various picture formats, 14:9, zoom, smart and wide used for anamorphic dvds.
geometery is also spot on.

hope this helps.
