Thomson tv NTSC setup

I have a Thomson widescreen tv and it is fine in PAL but when watching R1 DVD's the screen blinks for a split second on very brifgt sequences i.e 0:33:38 mins into R1 Time machine. I can access the service menu but it shows PAL in the menu and I can't figure out how to change this to NTSC, any ideas? The DVD's play fine on my other tv, a much older Panasonic.

Make sure that DVM 100Hz is OFF, Comb Filter is OFF and the only thing ticked is the progressive scan 50HZ is ON

Contrast on mine is set at about 30%, colour 50%, brightness 50 - 65 % depending on quality of DVD

Auto Format you can turn OFF

Sharpness I set at around 30%

You should also make sure it is set to RGB on AV1 or AV2

Hope this helps
