Tosh 36ZP38 Faulty

Hi I might be able to purchase a Tosh 36ZP38. Its local to me. Its faulty with whats described as coloured bar coding as the failure mode after about 2 minutes of use. Would this be the DFS or?
If so How much to repair do we all think ?
Thx

That sounds like the symptoms.
If you can persuade the present owner to phone Toshiba with the date of purchase and the serial no they will usually provide the module free of charge leaving you just the labour/fitting charge which should be around £60.00-£90.00...otherwise the module is approx £120.00
