Exclamation Ferguson AV channel and aspect ratio problems

Hi All,

I have a 2 year old Ferguson 28" widescreen CRT telly, and recently it has been missing the top and bottom of the picture. I originally thought this was just the aspect ration not being on 16:9, but changing through the options this does not fix it.

I also noticed that the AV channel which I use for my digibox, which normally when you change to that channel shows "ext-1" in the top left corner, now only says "stereo". I'm not sure if these problems are related.

On occasion, I have resolved this by fiddling with the aspect ratio and switching from analogue tv to digital and back again. This does not always work, and I don't really know what I'm doing.

Does this problem sound familiar, and can anyone help?

Thanks,

Alipar
