Hi lentini,

I have the 28 inch version and very happy with it - search for 'nervous anticipation' for my review. RGB output is dark though.

Cheers

Well it was for me.

I guess there are many variables involved :

DVD player,
Cables used,
DVD disc

... but anyway I watch using S-Video and for me personally I think it is excellent.

Cheers,

Rashomon

Search for "AV28R25" and you'll find my review as well. I also found the RGB feed dark and dull.

No one actually answered this guy's question. Does anyone own
one of these ? I've just ordered one after having a good hunt about but have never read any reviews. Even What TV don't list it. Is it an outgoing set ? are they any good ? are they reliable ?

Answers on a postcard.

I used to own one but I returned it for a refund (details on another thread).

They have only been out for a few months but JVC are constantly changing their chassis anyway, so expect even more new JVC models soon.

My comments are on a few threads. If you search for "AV28R25" you will find these.

Main problem was that the RGB picture was dull and dark (lack of contrast). Engineer told me this was to do with the peak white limiter being set to low and was a design issue (they had had lots of complaints about it). S-Video picture was good however. Nice subwoofer too.
