1 rgb scart 2 devices to connect - how?

It's a quiet day at the office so here's another post:-

If you have 1x enabled scart and you have two rgb enabled devices to connect ie. digital cable set top box and games console how do you get them both connected for rgb? Do you have to use a switching device?

Currently have games console on rgb scart - does not work on the other scarts and set top box on scart two.

If your digital cable box has a second scart it should provide RGB passthrough. If you've only got one scart socket on it you will need a switch box. They are cheap enough but a PITA to have to keep getting up off the sofa and prssing the button!

I think you might be able to get ones that auto-switch?

You can get auto-switching ones - Quattro+ but seems a waste of £80 if you only have one other source to connect. Better of spending a tenner and getting a manual switch.

I have a scart box, two scart sockets into one scart lead (if that makes any sense). Would that do the job, two rgb inputs going to one scart conected to TV. The only thing is you would have to make sure that you only feed it one input ar a time.

I'd pay £80 if it meant I didn't have to get up off the sofa
