Philips Widescreen TV - 28PW6615. Service Menu Help Needed

Can anyone help please. I've recently purchased a 2nd hand Philips Widescreen TV, 28" and model number 28PW6615 (approx 5 years old I was told). I am struggling to get into service menu to adjust the picture slightly. Googling for an answer brings up the same remote control keys 0 6 2 5 9 6 then the [i+] key.

This code has worked on another Philips TV I had a while back, but am having no joy whatsoever getting the menu up on present one. I just end up on channel 96 and thats it. Any help appreciated. Thanks.[/SIZE][/SIZE]

On my Philips TV which is a 28PW6515 (did you misstype ?) You have to type that number

fairly fast and on my remote I have to press "=i" (it actually has three lines). I don't have an "i+" button tho so it might be the same button!

Other codes that do interesting things are :

062596 menu

or hold mute on the remote and any of the button on top of the TV for 4 seconds ;O)

Just tried this service menu on my 28PW6515, although i didn't change anything I now have the work "SAM" stuck in the top right hand corner, any ideas?

Also I have had 4 of these sets and each one has a lot of hiss through it through everything but the tuner itself, it only goes away if you put it on channel 0 then switch back to one of the scart channels?

Thanks for reply, just double checked manual and sticker on rear of tv. It most definitely is a model no 28PW6615. Did a google search and found this model as well so it definitely exists.

I did have another Philips tv a while back that did accept the codes you mentioned and brought up the menu, but doesnt appear to work on this one. I've tried 0 6 2 5 9 6 plus the [i+] key. Tried the same numbers plus the [menu] key as well and still no joy.
