ntsc to pal

hi dont no if this is the right thread but here gose
iv seen this plasma on ebay cheap as chips but its ntsc not pal how could i conver it to pal thx

I believe it dont matter these days, the tv will be mutli, for instance my TV is set to auto but it can be pal, secam,ntfc or some other weird ones.

Be careful, if it's an import it might have NTSC only. However that ony matters if you use CVBS or tuner inputs - if you drive through component it could be OK.

BUT, it has to sync at 50Hz (NTSC is 60Hz) - and might not. Also, even if you get a 60Hz signal instead to drive it, then you will get a lot of flicker with 50Hz lighting.

I suspect it's best to avoid.

If it really is very cheap, you have to ask why.

TG is always first in line for a bargain, but remember you generally get what you pay for.

As Hamster says, probably best to avoid.
