Was a huge Sony advocate for the best part of 10 years. Since getting my new Philips 9617 though I have seen the light. Sony are WAY behind in technology now............

i thought that too..

oh well...

I saw the beovision avant 32 dvd- sweet

based on philips flat tube - as Loewe aconda

'Nuff Said!

BUT philips bodies do seem a bit flimsy...and im not impressed with the interface or the remotes.. sonys seem a bit better there..

SONY went thru a phase of being really amazing - i had a profeel 27" in the early 80's = nice ! now - ???
