I owned a 28VK25 a few months back, but i had to take it back due to a large area of colour discolouration on the top right hand corner. An engy tried to fix it but couldn't so i changed for a different make.
Found a review of the t.v with the built in dvd and looking at the specs at thomson europe , the tube in them should be the same.
Seems like a decent tele.

Hope it helps
