can anyone help me with the key on my wharfedale TV 21 inch M10 (4:3 in silver)

Can anybody help me out, i have a Wharfedale TV and I my son has locked me out of it all im getting is KEY coming up when I switch it on. All you can do with the remote is type in numbers so it must be a child lock or something. KEY _ _ _ 3 numbers tis wrecking my head as I just bought the damn thing 2 weeks ago. So if anybody could help me out on this I would be extremly greatfull

It may well be documented in the instruction book somewhere, but this method works on older Wharfedale sets , so should work on yours (they are all made by Vestel anyway)!

Press the PP button on the remote control 3 times . (PP is the Personal Preference button). Then, remove the key option using the FUNCTION menu.

On earlier sets, you had to enter the wrong code three times, but I am guessing you're already past this point by now.

Let me know how you get on. If it doesn't work, I'll think again. Can you give us the full model number please ?
