Samsung WS32Z419D what can i say.

I know there are a posts on here already about thes TV, but though i would add my findings to it.
My CRT tv gave up on me a few days ago and i started looking around for a replacment, i found the Samsung WS32Z419D and thought that it was perfect for what i wanted as i have Telewests TV drive box.
After reading everything i could find on it i decided to pop into Currys and have a look at one on display. Picture looked great, untill i decided to check out the geometry probs i had been reading about. I called up the menu and noticed straight away the the sides of the box were bent. Still i thought for the money and the HDTV side i could live with it. I then spent an hour playing around with the TV, loved the HD picture. So i decided to reserve one and take my chances. The shop i was in did not have one in stock but they found one on the other side of BRistol for me.
I then rang Samsung to ask if they knew of any picture and sound problems, the very nice man said that nothing had come down from head office about it. If i did find that the TV was faulty i could always get it FIXED.
So i put the wife and son in the car and off we went. On arriving i pointed out the TV, the wife thought the picture was great. I then showed her the wonkey menue lines, which on this one even worse. After a lot of humming i ended up walking out with a LG 27" LCD TV. OK it was £100 pound more, but was i going to be to live the problems that everyone had been discussing on here. I think not.
I do hope that Samsung do read these forums as i think its not on to put this product in the market place with these known faults. Then expect us, the paying public to cough up and then to wait for a home repair. If a total novice like me can walk in to a shop and spot these problems straight away then they must know somthing is up.
To finish with, very happy with the LG 27" HD looks great through telewest. What is the point of a CRT TV with all these probs when you can buy a LCD which works great for £100 more.
