JVC AV-32x37HKE cut out problem

I just got given a JVC AV-32x37HKE interiArt 100Hz DigiPure Pro £d cinema sound, sounds good but it will only stay on for a couple of mins. before it switches off the screen goes red and after it switches off the stand-by light flashes. If anyone knows of this problem or what it could be and how i could find the fault. I would hate to have to shot it out as iam good and soliving problems but the problem here is finding the problem. Can anyone help in any way

I will give you the same advice as I would have given john57...get it looked at by an experienced TV engineer...modern TVs are not d-i-y fixable.
