About 3 months ago, I was ready to order the Samsung WS32Z409TQX HD Ready CRT Tv. Due to all the problems, and not willing to buy a Lcd Tv, I just let it be and sticked to my good old 21" CRT.
Now I'm back and I don't have an idea of how the market is looking atm and in the near future. I still want an HD CRT to hook up to my Xbox 360. So I'm hoping you guys can inform me how things are, are the Samsung Hd CRT problems fixed now or to be fixed in the near future? Or are there better CRT Hd's out at the moment or coming out in the next few months?
I prefer to buy cut-price, high-end products. If a TV lasts as long as I would expect it (10+ years), its novelty period is relatively small anyway, so why not pay as little as possible, or buy as high-end as possible.

Thanks alot!
I will be surprised if any other company is going to produce a HD-ready CRT. JVC and Panasonic for instance don't even have a CRT with component input anymore. Philips does have a CRT with HDTV inputs, but it will downscale all HDTV signals to 576p (progressive PAL). I don't know if it is on the market in the UK, but you can get them on the continent.
My guess is that the Samsung will remain the only HD-Ready CRT on the market.
