Aconda Problem

I received an Aconda 9281ZW 2 weeks ago.

Intermittantly it has been making a click sound and the picture dimming for what seems like less than 1/4 a second in duration.

The few times that it has happened it has mostly been just after turning it on.

I've already contacted the supplier and I am waiting on a reply.

Just wanted to know what you guys thought...

I am returning mine.

I posted a thread earlier about the markers on the tubes far left and right.
This is only apparant on the 9281 (Tosh Tubes)
does that not frustrate you?

It may just be the degausser. Most sets perform an automatic degauss at startup to ensure optimum picture quality. You can usually detect the degausser by an audible click or clunk and a momentary disturbance of the picture.

If it's happening too regularly it may indicate some underlying problem.

Thanks for the replies.

About the notches on the side of the screen, I dont really take any notice of them, they're also fairly difficult to see from 4 feet away.
