Sony TV - what's it worth?

Wife has agreed new LCD purchase only if I part with my old pride and joy first.

This is a 32" Widesreen CRT television, excellent condition on the TV, remote and glass stand.

The set is 100hz scanning, picture in picture, freeze frame. 3 scart sockets, 1 s-vhs and component.

Has a feature where you can push a button on the set and the remote beeps loudly - very handy if you misplace the remote a lot as my wife seems to have a habit of.

This TV comes with a John Lewis extended warranty which will run until 13/02/2008 so if anything goes wrong you're covered. I've not got a single complaint about the set. I even have the original manual.

Obviously I'd be looking for the buyer to collect the set and they are welcome to pop round for a look to make sure they know what they are buying and to ensure they know how they are getting it home.

It's a fantastic set and I still love it now - just want to go hi-def for the Xbox 360!

Looking to sell it fairly quickly but not sure what it is worth so was looking for peoples opinion on what I should be asking for it. I was hoping to get approx £250-£270. Does this sound sensible?

Sounds reasonable to me.

I think you should move that to the appropriate forum and follow the rules that go with it.

What would the appropriate forum for asking a question about a CRT TV be?

I think he means - "if you are looking to make a sale then it should be moved to the Trade section" - other than that you are posting in the correct place - I think
