Philips Pixel Plus I - Can it display 1080i?

I'm using a first generation Philips Pixel Plus CRT, the manual is rather skimpy. It says that the TV has inputs for 480p/1080i, but is not clear if it downconverts the 1080i or is able to display it?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm considering getting an xbox 360, but I won't get it if my TV doesn't display 1080i.
