Question New Sony models KV32LS60 and KV32LS65

Have anyone read about or seen these TV:s? I´ve seen that the prices on the KV32FX65, which I had planned to buy, have dropped the last weeks. The LS65 should have picture-in-picture, digital comb filter and a remote capable of managing DVD and VCR from other manufacturers as well. Sounds really good, have not seen a price yet, though. Has anyone?

I was just coming to post for information as well, as I couldn't find any details apart from price here.....

Will have to wait a couple of weeks maybe. Is this the replacement for the FX65?

Have Found The sony Kv32ls60 on a scandinavian website. The picture it shows is of the ls35 range so i dont know if it is the right one. If it is it is a shame, it would be nice to see a new design from sony!!

Have anyone seen/heard anything about the LS65?
Description is on Sonys swedish website, http://www.sony.se/products.asp
The interesting part is in my first post in case you find the language difficult.

Sony ls 65 sounds good. But i would really like it to look different than the ls35. If you get any pics of what it looks like post the link on the forum. was going to buy a fx65 this weekend, but i think i will wait now.

Just got an email from Sony about the LS65. It is scheduled for release this summer (May). The recommended price will be 17.000 SEK or about £1150.
Hmm, ordered a FX65 for £850 a few weeks ago and will receive it in a days time. If I´m not completely satisfied they´ll get it back and I´ll wait for the LS65.

Where are you getting the FX65 for £850? Thanks.

The KV28-LS60 is available in the UK now. Saw it at John Lewis last week. £895 I think. Not sure if they had the 32" though.

The thing which concerns me is that I was told in the store that this set cannot be switched to 50Hz. I had one (well two actually) of the dreaded KV28-FQ75 sets - finally returned for a refund. Problems with bars as mentioned elsewhere, but also the smearing of any fast motion at 100Hz was awful. I had it running permanently at 50Hz.

I would take some convincing that a SONY which only runs at 100Hz is a good idea. Any one any experience of other SONYs at 100HZ?

Hmm, I live in Sweden and, actually I just calculated from SEK to £. The last week there have been price drops on the FX65 for about £75, maybe the FX65 will be replaced by the LS65 in May.
Check www.mistersuper.com for the FX65 at £791 and £65 in shipping.

Does anybody know the exact specs for these new sets? And do you know if there is a replacement for the FQ75 on the horizon?

Mark.

Fq75 has been replaced by the 32dx100 with digital tuner built in.
About £1400 if you shop around and so far no complaints about scrolling bars!!!!!!

The new Sony lineup is as follows

28 and 32 LS35 as b4
28 and 32 LS60 as above but 100hz and slightly redesigned stand
28 and 32 FX66 replaces FX65 extra RGB scart i.e 2 rgb and PIP(1 tuner)
28 and 32 FQ80 4Scarts (2RGB) Memory Stick slot Not available till Sept
New 36 in pipeline I believe

IDTV's as b4 I think

except 51DS1 being replaced by DS2

Can't find out anything more at the mo

If I do will post

Just got the new Sony Catalog. As Archer previously commented, the model is called KV32-FX66 not LS65.

The differences from FX65 is that the FX66 has:
+
Digital comb filter
Picture in picture (1 tuner)
2 RGB
Auto Noise Reduction
Picture freeze
Virtual Dolby (Audio)
BBE (Audio)

-
Only 100Hz digital+ (Not advanced)
No graphic equalizer (Audio)
No parental lock (guess everyone will miss that)
No Text 2.5 and Text menu
Only 250 Text pages

Maybe I should have waited for the FX66 instead of buying the FX65. Ah, nevermind. Guess the price tag will be a bit higher, anyway. What do you think of this?

Cheers - Mojo
