Screen burn on RP?

How easy is it for a RP to develop screen burn? What about channel logos? What is the longest you can watch a channel that has a logo without harming your tv?

TV's are generally shipped with a "torch setting" contrast of 100. Immediately turn this all the way down to between 35 and 50. Preferably buy the Avia Home Theater Calibration DVD from Amazon, its essential for an RPTV. With contrast as low as 40 for example its very unlikely your TV will develop burn in. I've watched a whole 90 mins football match with the logo's present all the time with no trouble at all. For your own piece of mind simply change the channel every hour.

For your piece of mind just don't watch the logoed channels at all!
