Toshibas new RPTVs accepts progressive scan. Or...?

...well, do they? Some say that they do (Toshiba Service in Sweden, Link in Peterborough have tested this and say it does work), some say they don't!?! (Toshiba UK and a Swedish dealer)

Has anyone tried the 42WH18/50WH18/57WH18 and a progressive scan capable player like Toshiba 510E? (though NTSC P/S only, but that would be good enough for me!)

I'm very close to ordering a 42" or 50" Tosh and maybe a new DVD player, but then I have to know what player to buy...progressive scan capable or not?
