Toshiba 36ZP48KIT 36

After doing a great deal of research into Plasma/ lcd/ and rear projection tv, I reached the conclusion that these technologies have a long way to go before they produce a better picture than crt...............

Now, wanting a large screen tv it is hard to find anything above a 32"crt, however I have just seen advertised a Toshiba 36ZP48KIT 36" for about £1350, anybody know how good or bad these sets are, I am quite tempted

I have the 32" version and i can recommend it, actually i demand you buy it now . But seriously its proberly the best 36" crt on sale today, your actually quite lucky to find one as its discountinued so i would make a quick decision.

Make sure you see one up and running, your eyes are the best judge.
Personally I find they produce an artificial looking picture, I am very picky about picture quality hence usually hate most Lcd's, 100hz crt's and some Plasma's.

agreed, they are very good sets - try your local less-visited department stores for a better price though?
