TV Pattern Test Images [Samsung WS32Z308P]

Hi,

I'm new at the forum!

I've bought a Samsung WS32Z308P and... guess what... I have Geometry probs at the sides.

Tomorrow I'll play with service menu to try to fix it as perfect as possible and I'll need some pattern test images. I've googled and found some but they have poor quality and low res.

Can someone give me a help on this?

BTW: My probs are, as far as i saw, when image is near the left side limit it get all stretch, and a bit of the right side too. What option do I'll have to change? (I already have the Samsung official Service Manual -> http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/co...62A-aadj-3.pdf - but is only to make sure that I don't screw the tv).

Tomorrow (i'm not living yet on the TV's home) i'll post the results of before and after adjustments.

I recorded de DVD with some test images and other stuff to test, and went test it on my DVD player that is connected to a Sony 4:3 CRT TV with 5 years old... and...... OMG... there is no straight line anywhere... and i thought that that tv had a fantastic image! :D

Get yourself the Avia dvd, or something simalar, great for calabrating and testing, but before you alter anything, make sure you write down your settings, the settings for each set differ quite a bit, as no two sets are ever the same, what works for one will be out on another, so make sure you write em down first, saves alot of heartache later.

Yep, I wrote down all default values before change them.

I got almost perfect lines at center and the best at sides. I could better the center ones, but than the sides stayed awfull.

This is the best i could do. I've tested a lot of images.

I couldn't solve not a little the stretch of the sides. You can nottest mor at the yellow circle. I hoppe that is becouse mine XBOX only detects the tv as 4:3 and the tv is stretching the image to fill 16:9 (i'm waiting a component cable to connect the xbox through y, pb, pr).

Do your tvs also strecth image at sides? Or should I RMA this set?
