buying plasma

where to buy the philips 32" plasma ?
online - e.g. unbeatable or QED for around £4K, or High Street - John Lewis/Debenhams for around £5K ?

Is it worth an extra grand for the after sales service of the high st shops ?

I would go plasma too if I had the money!! My personal favourite is the Pansonic TH42PWB4. Saw it demo'ed at a hi-fi store. The quality is out of this world! Hopefully prices will come down over time.

There are many reasons to go for plasma:

1) No geometry problems
2) No colour problems
3) Immune to magnetic fields

Isn't technology wonderful?!

£4k-£5k for a 32" plasma's rather expensive, you'll easily get a 42" Panasonic for under £5k.

I don't rate the Philips 42" plasma I saw at all, terrible picture and artifacts.

You should probably demo others before parting with that much money.
