I have read that some 50Hz sets pass an RGB input directly from the SCART socket to amplification then to the electron guns, with no conversion from analogue to digital, from RGB to YUV or from RGB to Y/C. Also without noise reduction or any other processing. As I understand it these sets can be identified by an inability to adjust colour saturation on an RGB input.
I am wondering if it is possible for such sets to have two RGB capable SCART sockets or if processing of the signals would be necessary for the set to be able to select between the two inputs. What do you guys think?
