Any Happy Sony 28" Widescreen Owners-Your Advice Please!

Howdy All,
I'm putting off buying a LCD for now and would like to buy a 28" Sony CRT widescreen.
There are quite a few models out there (either new or mint second-hand) all the way from the KV-28HX15 up to the KD-28DX51.
Gaming is of no interest to me,so the telly will be used to watch Sky+ mainly (plenty of football and movies).
I'd be grateful if you could recommend a set to me,and why.
Big thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Si.

I am about to sell my KV28FX65U as I've just bought a Sony KD32DX200.

The former is 18 months old and we loved it. It has a matching stand, has 100Hz flicker free technology picture. Has 3 scarts and 1 pop-out connection array on the side. Is ultra-reliable and has the best picture I ever saw before seeing the DX200.

It's on the forum sales section and I mention this only for posterity. I'd thoroughly recommend the Sonys.

You can buy the base model KV28HX15 at Tesco for £229, plus Curry's and Dixons advertise them but never have any stock.

Cheers for that,Sean.
I'm now torn between a Sharp 26PE50 and a CRT.
Think I'll dither for a while yet!
Cheers,
Si.
