anyone got the JVC HV-32D40BK?

I have found JVC HV-32D40BK for £560 anyone out there know anything about it? I am finding it extremely difficult to decide what tv to get - my 28" died on me over a month ago. I am trying very hard not to buy something in desparation!

I have been looking at LCD tv also - trying to decide whether to go down that route. Anyone have any ideas?

I have looked through. this forum and the LCD forum for the past few weeks, trying to take everything in! I was looking at the Tosh 32" CRT 32YT56 - but after reading different threads in this forum, I have definitely ruled that one out!

The JVC 32D40BK looks excellent, but then do you spend that much money on a CRT!
The JVC AV32R57SK is one that has no integrated freeview and isn't as good (reading spec) but that one is £389.

Onthe LCD side of things, the Sharp 32P50E seems to be the best option at the moment at the £700 mark. What to do?

Would appreciate your views

There's a large thread already running about this model. That should answer most of your questions:

JVC HV-32D40. when is it out ?

The main reason for it's high price is because it does high definition 1080i and 480p through component. It seems that it doesn't excel in SD picture but it isn't bad either. If your not bothered about HD you could grab one that probably excels in SD (or just about as good as the JVC) for the same price if not lower.
