Plasma's and screen burn

Just thought I would point out about screen burn on plasma displays.
On a recent visit to Mcdonalds (drive through) in Crewe I noticed they had a NEC plasma running with Mcdonalds adverts and pop videos, to my horrow whilst a pop video was running it was obvious it had bad screen burn, as much to say the Mcdonalds logo was burnt into the screen. I thought it was crt based displays which only suffered from this. Has anyone else seen screen burn on a Plasma display?

CRT's use phosphor to create the light.....Plasma's use little pixels with phosphor too......

It's common in Plasma's which have static text shown on them. The Plasma's sold off from the Dome suffered badly from this I believe. Sensibke setting of front panel controls and not playing games or programmes with static text on screen for long lenghts of time should result in a long and trouble free life for domestic devices though.
