32 inch with £450 to spend

I am looking for a 32" TV for my mum for xmas but only have 450 to 500 to spend.

Can you recommend any thing

currys had a good deal on, i missed out though and apparently it's discontinued, but it retails for £600 but currys had it for £379 and if you use discount codes you get it cheaper...try it against your post code you might hit lucky...

go for the sony mate has an EXCELLENT Trinitron picture tube, ill admit Toshiba are good but u cant beat a good sony.........

they both look nice to me, but the sony doesnt come with a stand, toshiba does..but it seems the sony has an extra scart and also s-video connection

both look good to me though

Yup I saw this one but this forum have way too many mixed opinions on Panasonic and the model before this one the Panasonic TX-28PM11 was a bit of a turkey.

So I think I will settle for sony ...never bought one before as I usally go for Toshiba. But as I said its for Mum so we will try Sony

Well I went ahead and ordered a Sony kv32cs71 last Thursday from Webelectricals.com ( I think that was the name) and it arrived today and my Mum is well pleased, The picture was very good lets just see if it stands the test of time.

PS the box was massive

same with my mum the last 3 televesions shes had in the house since when i was born in 86 wear all toshiba then about 4 yrs ago she upgraded to a 4:3 29" SONY FD WEGA my god its loverly still going strong........

hope ur mum likes it after all the trouble you'v gone to
