Possible scart problem

Can a Panasonic TX32DTX11 (QLink) connected to a Sony SLVSE740 (smartlink) video recorder via scart lead, cause problems?

The TV will intermittently switch it self off and then on again.

Or is the TV just faulty?

You're lucky, mine switches itself off and doesn't switch back on again

Scart leads

just try cutting pin 10 and 12 in the scart lead.
