Really sorry about this but need your help asap

Sorry for this post i know they bore people, however the girlfriend is off to buy a tv for her new apartment tmrw and she needs some advice, i havent been keeping up to date recently so i just need a quicj checklist of what i should be looking for.

Its likely to be a 32" lcd i would imagine. Main things she needs

a) one that comes with a stand that suits it would be preferable
b) Needs to cost less than €1500 incl stand and dvd player

I presume i should be looking for one with high contrast (how high) low reponse (12ms?) and hdtv compat?

Can any recommend a fairly common lcd (we are in ireland not the same choice) that fulfills the above

your help is greatly appreciated

Hi cyrusir

If I had the cash I'd go for this;

http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_6012.html

The Diboss 32", it may not be a very well known make but it's less than your 1500E budget + you can plug your PC into it - very handy if you like downloading "NON copyright" films, it saves transcoding and burning to disk
Like you said, you may not have as much choice in Ireland, but the likes of Amazon sell this product and they deliver to Ireland, so do Kustom - I think?
