can't adjust the red convergence

I have a Toshiba 43vj22p and I can't adjust the red convergence horizontally even in service mode. I have restored the convergence in design mode, but the red still hasn’t moved.

I'll add the question to the general tv forum now.

I can adjust the blue, both horizontally and vertically and the red vertically.
but the red won't move horizontally.

Hi Lee,
This is the same problem I have with a 40WH Toshiba.
It is the blue that will not move in the horizontal plane.
Did you get any horizontal movement from the cross in S-Mode or D-Mode?
I didn't


I took the back off and (On the convergence board) both the Heatsinks for STK ICs were warm to the touch.
This makes me think the problem lies with perhaps a transistor or the coil on the tube neck?

I was wondering what would happen if one were to substitute the convergence wires for one another on the board - say swap the blue and red plugs and see the problem shifts to respective colour?
Would this be advisable?

As for changing the wires around. i dont no much about tv's so i couldn't say.
