Does anyone else have problems watching sport on a 36zp48

Hi Everyone

Had my tosh for about a month now and quite happy. Two problems though just wondering if anyone can shed any light.

1 Football, I seem to be getting a Halo effect when watching football, only appears when watching sky sports though, BBC and ITV analogue seem fine? I have tried changing the modes but I can't seem to get rid.

2 Does anyone every experience times when the picture needs a moment to correct itself, such as if the programme pans quickly to another image, it seems to go fuzzy for a millisecond and then correct itself.

I normally have it on Natural with the contrast down to 40, if anyone has any ideas please post.

you should switch to 100mhz when watching football.

Hi, I watch football via Freeview on my 32ZP48 (which has the same video processing as the 36ZP48) I find the pictures are excellent for us. I watch in the natural scan mode like you. Regards, yt.

I've just bought a 32zp48 and have noticed the fuzzy/blurring when the picture pans quickly. Hoping it will be helped by the new SCART leads I have ordered.

Otherwise TV seems fine - football seemed ok when I was watching the play-offs yesterday through NTL. What about stepping down to 50HZ?

Seems odd that you upgrade your tele and then have problems.

I noticed the halo problem whilst watching the simpsons as well yesterday.

I bought some top quality scart leads 69.99 from comet and switched to RGB in the sky+ menu but I still get the problem. It is worse the brighter you have the picture, but its not there on the analouge signal.

I had no idea there were known problems with Sky+ and 100hz television sets, I am very annoyed as I watch more football than anything on my tele.

Is there anything anyone else can suggest?

This is a side effect of the digital processing and affects most modern TV's to a greater or lesser extent.

Non-Forum members probably don't notice it!

I'm afraid better Scart cables won't improve it (although they do have other advantages).

Hi.I had the same trouble when i bought a 100hz tv,i couldn't cope with the fast motion blur,especially when watching sport.football was terrible.so i sent it back and got the 50hz tv.much better for your eyes.(well my eyes any how)But some people who have 100hz tv,say they are much better,but i do not agree.
