Red face Hitachi C36WF810N

I am now on my second (and last) set as the
scan coil is vibrating so badly that the sound is coming out of the front speakers and during quiet/dialogue only moments can be heard over the soundtrack.
Has anyone else heard of this design problem?

The engineer pointed it out to me, it's within the cone that is attached to the back of the screen.
We took the back off the set, turned it on and there was no buzz coming out of the speakers. Guess it just dissapates out into the room. Put the back on again and the buzz is back.
With the cost of these sets a noise like this shouldn't be put up with.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what's a scan coil?
