PC Card Adaptor for Sharp LC32GD1E

Hi,
The Sharp manual is not particularly helpful on the type of PC card adaptor to use to view camera memory cards. There are 3 different memory types in the family - Compactflash, SD and Smart Media - a shame because it seems the 4in1 and 6in1 card adaptors support all these except Compactflash! (unless anyone knows otherwise?)...
But the main point is, does any PCMCIA card adaptor , suitable for the memory card of course, fit the bill? I found a Compactflash card adaptor for just 3.99 incl delivery at the MX2 website but it talks about being suitable for machines with suitable operating systems and additional drivers may be required for NT systems. Now I know what this all means in relation to a PC but how does it relate to a TV card slot?!...is it ok or do i need to find one that is truly plug and play?
Over to you guys!

David
