I have the same model as you with the same problems. My set is 2.5 years old and aswell as sticking in standby mode sometimes whilst viewing the remote will not responde. When I turn my set on I hear it switch itself off and normally after lots of attempts it powers up. If anyone out there as some answers or can offer us some advice PLEASE help. I have been searching the net for engineers with no luck, any recommendations would be gratefully recieved
