Philips 28DW6558 - Blue Screen Problem

Hi. I have a Philips 28DW6558. Its a digital tv. I dont get freeview in my area but every so often I check the digital tuner and scan for any new services. I went to do this the other day but when i switched to the digital tuner all i get is a blue screen. None of the buttons on the controller work and i cant get into the digital menu to scan for services. The analogue tuner still works fine. Does anyone know whats wrong?

Hello Shump and welcome to the Forum.

I don't know your exact TV, but it sounds as if the software associated with the digital tuner scanning has got its knickers in a twist.

(That's a technical term, of course. )

Is there some sort of reset button, either physically or in a menu?

Remember that it's a bit like a computer.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!
The manual mentions doesnt mention a way to reset it. Tried unplugging from the wall overnight but no joy. Thought there might be some sort of hiddden manufacturer code to reset it but have had no joy. Its really bugging me.
