Have tried the search function, but even more lost now.
Its all the video connections!!
I have just purchased a Yamaha DSP AX750 Se and am trying to figure out whether I benefit from using its Video connections or just leave it to do the Audio processing.
My TV is the Philips 32” 100hz Widescreen. The only Video connections on the back are 3 scarts which are listed as follows;
External 1 (Can Handle CVBS and RGB only)
External 2 (Can handle CVBS,Y/C and RGB)
External 3 (Can handle CVBS only)
The AX750 monitor outs are
Component
Pr,Pb,Y - S-Video or Video(composite)
I am not sure whether to use the Video monitor from The Yamaha ( by purchasing some sort of SCART conversion cable to one of these SCART connections, or whether to bypass the Yamaha and to connect the Skybox and DVD straight to TV.
The DVD is a Pioneer 575 which Has RGB SCART and Component OUT
The SKY+ Digibox Has the SVHS output and RGB SCART.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks
Andy
