James,

Forgive my curiosity (OK then, nosey!), but why would you want a 4:3 TV?

Sounds a bit like trying to buy a Betamax VCR!

if it has a 16x9 mode, then a very big 4x3 is always fun as long as you don't mind the black bars (and i'd rather see black bars on a 2.35:1 film on a 4x3 set than on a 16x9 anyway) and at 37" big, it might well be larger than a 28" ws for the 16x9 area.

reason is because i want a second tv in my room to use for halo 2! for when my bro or some mates come round for multiplayer

i want a big screen too, something cheap in comparison to other technologies on the market plus i just prefer 4:3 too for some reason.

at the mo, ive got a 26" wharfedale crt but its just not big enough for gaming.
