how long before we see digital recording tv's

how long do u think? we have digital tv's do you think we will get digital recordable tv (pvr built in) im guessing we might but ya never know nowdays

I believe Loewe already have such a beast.
They will no doubt evolve and improve , e.g. using better compression ( like MPEG4 or JPEG2000 ).
