Faint horizontal band on tv

Have a Panasonic TX-PG50(32") i have noticed a 'very' faint horizontal strip along the centre of the picture, only really notice it on dark pictures. you can still see it when playing dvds so i guess it's not a signal problem. Could this be interfearence or a problem with the tube? the tv is about 18months old.
Cheers guys
