I have been looking at widescreen tvs for a while and thought i had made a decision on the Sony KV32FQ86 only to find out it has many a problem i.e. switching off. what other tvs would be a good alternative in a similar price range

Thanks

Ashley,

Welcome to the Forum!

Alas, every TV on the market has some sort of problem.

It's all a question of deciding what you can live with.

If you're looking for perfection, I'm afraid you'll never buy anything!

Good luck in your search.

As a brand and a very general comment, Loewe tend to have the typical issues* surrounding large CRTs under better control than most others.

* like - geometry, convergence, stability
