Philips 32PW9713/05 Service Menu ?

Hi

Can anyone help by telling me how to access the service menu on this set Philips 32PW9713/05.

I know its a few years old now but it has had an irritating problem from new..its my brothers and he doesnt mind but I would like to sort it out for him if possible

Prob1 - small white area at top of picture...looks like a tilt issue or picture setting, he has cured it with a piece of black tape

Prob2 - keeps switching from 16:9 to 4:3 during adverts only doesnt switch back to 16:9 again once program restarts (seems to happen most when watching F1 on ITV)

Can at least the auto switching be turned off

Cheers guys.
