Simple Question

Looking to make a switch from a normal 27 and 32 inch analog crt to an hdtv rear projection tv. i have digitial cable, plan to get hdtv for it as well, and would like to hook up an htpc to it as well. As it goes, the htpc looks like crap on the 27 and 32 inch tvs. Color is off, text gets blurry. Will I have the same problem with the rear projections, or is it improved. Do i have to get one with a dvi input, or can i use my existing connections from my vid card (ati aiw). Thanks for the help guys. (And please dont suggest a projector, breaks my heart. I really want one, but unfortunately I got kids that like to write on things, and my rooms are small).

I take it you are in the US?
HAve a look at new DLP rear pro sets coming from Samsung in next few weeks/ months have you considered plasma?
And i cant see how kids writing on things would stop you going for PJ tho mate? (motorised screen)
