JVC HV-32D40 any news yet ?

When (if ever) is this set coming out ?.

Its on several websites, John Lewis for example but no one seems to know when its coming out.

I even phoned JVC today and the doughnut I spoke to had no idea ???.

I cant wait much longer, it could be a Sony DX200 very soon.

It would be great if you could as I want to hold out for a JVC32D40, but am getting very tempted to go for a Toshiba 32ZP38 which seem to be greatly reduced due to the new version being released soon. The main reason for both of the above is not only the features they offer, but the other half only likes the black screen surrounds..

Am I wise to be looking at a Toshiba 32ZP38 instead?

Production starts at the end of this week so dealer availability will be in about 2 weeks. Initial quantities will be limited as demand is high and back orders will probably take most of the first batch. I'll try and find out who has them nearer the time of release.
